  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta:
    • Boil fettuccine in salted water according to the package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain the rest. Set the pasta aside.
  2. Prepare the Chicken:
    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken slices with salt and pepper, then cook until golden and fully cooked (about 6-8 minutes). Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. Cook the Bacon:
    • In the same skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  4. Make the Sauce:
    • In a bowl, whisk eggs, Parmesan cheese, and heavy cream until smooth.
  5. Combine:
    • Reduce skillet heat to low. Add the cooked pasta, chicken, and sauce mixture to the skillet. Toss quickly to combine, using reserved pasta water to achieve desired sauce consistency.
  6. Serve:
    • Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan cheese before serving.
