    • 600g cabbage, finely shredded
    • 1 carrot, grated
    • 2 eggs
    • 1/3 tsp salt, plus an extra 1/4 tsp for seasoning
    • 1/3 tsp black pepper
    • 50g oat flakes
    • 80g cheese, grated
    • 3 tbsp flour
    • 1 tbsp olive oil
    • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Dip and Garnish:
    • 3-4 tbsp thick yogurt
    • A handful of walnuts, chopped
    • Dill, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preparation:
    • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Ingredients:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded cabbage, grated carrot, eggs, salt, black pepper, oat flakes, grated cheese, flour, and minced garlic. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Form Patties:
    • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium to low heat. Shape the mixture into patties and cook until golden brown on both sides.
  4. Bake:
    • Transfer the patties to the prepared baking sheet and bake for 30-35 minutes until crispy.
  5. Prepare Dip:
    • Mix thick yogurt with a pinch of salt for a creamy dip.
  6. Serve:
    • Serve the patties warm, accompanied by the yogurt dip, and garnish with chopped walnuts and dill.
