- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 slices cheddar cheese (or cheese of your choice)
Instructions
- Cook the Beef Mixture: Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon as it browns. Add the diced onion, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Continue cooking until the onions soften and the mixture is well-combined.
- Prepare the Bread: Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place one slice of cheese on the unbuttered side of one slice.
- Assemble the Sandwich: Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly on top of the cheese. Add the second slice of cheese and top with the other slice of bread, buttered side facing outward.
- Grill the Sandwich: Heat a clean skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwich in the skillet and grill until golden brown on both sides, about 4–5 minutes per side, ensuring the cheese melts.
