Description

Honey Glazed Salmon combines tender, flaky salmon with a sweet and savory glaze made from honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. This recipe is versatile and perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions, pairing beautifully with a variety of side dishes.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless, about 6 ounces each)
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley, lemon slices

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic, and ginger to create the glaze.
  3. Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, sear the salmon fillets skin-side down (if using skin-on) for 2-3 minutes or until golden.
  5. Flip the salmon and cook for another 2 minutes, then pour the honey glaze over the fillets.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 7-10 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove from the oven, spoon the glaze from the pan over the salmon, and garnish with parsley or lemon slices if desired.
